Project Adoration

There is no higher love than choosing your own authenticity. This series is dedicated to those that are able to be their authentic selves and bravely love out loud. Love themselves, love each other, and love boldly.

In this exhibit, I strive to capture the thread of love that binds the queer community together. To represent us more fully, with all of the *sparkle* that we exude in life. Through each work, I intend to memorialize those who dare to love openly, and pay homage to the sacred relationships, both platonic and romantic, that are home for us.

The point of the art and the project itself is visibility, and is a celebration of the relationship itself, and not hiding it,” she went on to say. “Because the only way we’re going to move forward as a society is if we get used to this, if people get used to us existing....

“We need more moments of queer joy, queer love, queer intimacy, that people can relate to, that people can get comfortable seeing,” she said. “I would love for some of this stuff hang in places that people do see, in common spaces, and not be such a taboo subject matter.
